This hollow form captured the branches coming out of the center which gives it the look of a star fish. The dark sections are the result of exposing the wood to the elements so that it began to decay. The collar and pedestal are from African Black wood which focuses our eyes on the beauty of the wood. Finished with wipe on varnish, buffed, and waxed. Can be refreshed with quality furniture polish.
