Ann Cohen

No one can make our mark on this earth but us. My life as an artist is a journey. My marks are still being made. That is the inspiration behind my love of painting bicycles, and sunflowers at any stage; from freshly cut, to wilting as they drop their petals. These subjects connect me with the concepts of adventure and time passing.

In my journey as an artist, I am becoming an observer of light and color, and how they can dance with one another on a canvas. When I die, I hope to have a smudge of paint on my face or hands so my Creator will know just how much fun I've had playing with His colors here on earth!
