Beth Blackwell Cullen

Beth Blackwell Cullen has been a full-time artist since 2016, after nearly 30 years in corporate positions.  She studied drawing with George Morton, a Florence Academy graduate, and has taken workshops with some of the very best painters: Jill Carver, Qiang Huang, Bill Davidson, Kathie Odom, Matt Smith and Colley Whisson. Beth manages the Virginia Highland Plein Air Painters and is a member of the American Impressionist Society, Oil Painters of America, the Southeastern Pastel Society (Member of Excellence), and the Pastel Society of America. 

When she's not painting outside, you'll find Beth in her studio at Legacy Park in Decatur or teaching a drawing class.
