Don Gilmer

Don Gilmer is an Atlanta area award winning outsider, mixed media, assemblage artist. After working in the feature film and corporate exhibit industry most of his career Don decided to focus his creativity into making personal artwork. His work has been included in shows and galleries from New York to California including winning the 2024 Best of Show submission to the Annual South Cobb Art Alliance Show. Working in a variety styles from abstract to pop art. Don likes to incorporate vintage found objects into his creations with the hopes of making happy whimsical art for the viewers enjoyment. 

Built from glue, screws, and random things, Don Gilmer's pieces come to life through mixed media magic. Every detail—worn metals, found objects, and textured layers—tells a story.
