This is an aged piece of end grain NIP that has developed the dark wavy pattern in the wood. The "eyelets" around the piece come from cross sections of the branches that come out from the pith. It's hollow and creates a lovely art piece that can also be used for an arrangement of dried flowers or grasses. It is finished with wipe on varnish which I then buffed and polished. Use only dried items in this piece.
