Gerri Hyman

Gerri is a contemporary artist known for her use of brilliant and vibrant colors to create her works of art, whether it be an abstract, a bird painting, a bright vase of flowers, or a mixed media piece. Blurring the boundaries between reality and imagination, her work reflects a world bathed in intense shades, from saturated greens to electric blues, vivid shades of pink, red and all of the other colors in the big crayon crayon box!

Gerri has been drawing and painting her entire life and can’t imagine a day going by without creating. She lives in Greenville with her husband, Gary, and you can find her most days in her sunlit studio in a 100 year old school building in Simpsonville. She is a former art teacher and a graduate of the University of South Carolina.
