Jane has always been interested in the visual arts and dabbled in several mediums until
she found oil painting. After retiring as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, Jane began
to explore oil painting in greater detail.
Having studied with several oil painters across the country, Jane continues to mentor
with other established artists.
Jane enjoys painting colorful and unique subjects, landscapes, and light and shadow
paintings. Her original paintings have been selected for several juried art shows in the
Atlanta area. She paints out of a studio in Chamblee - Urban Arts Collective.
Her mission, as a later in life artist, is to encourage the discovery of art at all ages
through classes, workshops, gallery openings, and museums. Creativity is the heart
beat of life.
