OUR STORY Lit Up Candle Co. was founded by two beer and music lovers with a candle-making problem on a mission to promote sustainability. What started as a dating couple’s shared hobby and side-gig brewed into a husband-and-wife’s full-time business in Decatur, GA.

 HANDCRAFTED QUALITY Our upcycled candle containers are crafted in-house from beer and wine bottles using a 4-step cold-working process. First, we cut the glass using a wet tile saw; then using a flat lapidary wheel, we grind away any imperfections or chipping, pre-polish the now smooth edge, and polish to add shine back onto the glass.

ECO-FRIENDLY & NATURAL MATERIALS - We use all-natural 100% soy wax which is made from soy beans, a renewable and sustainable resource. Not only is soy wax nontoxic, carcinogen free, soot free and biodegradable--it lasts up to 50% longer than paraffin wax.  Our products are strongly scented with organic fragrance oils that are phthalate-free, paraben-free, cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, and IFRA-compliant. We have a wide selection of diverse scents that includes something for every palate. Our hemp wicks are eco-friendly, more sustainable than cotton, and burn hotter to improve scent throw.
