I have always loved hand-made pottery. From my grandma's tea mugs that she had found on her travels, to watching potters hand paint their wares in Jaipur at the Blue Pottery Workshop in Jaipur--I love it all.
As a cookbook author, I have long struggled to find suitable ways to present and celebrate the Indian cuisine. How does one tell a story that resonated beyond the preparation? To help with that, I launched a hand-made line of pottery.
