Plein de Bonté

My name is Connie LaGoy. I am a Korean American artist based in the Atlanta metro area and owner of Plein de Bonté. My focuses are landscapes, florals, and abstracts.

While art has been a part of me since I was a little girl, it wasn't until a few years ago that I picked up a brush again. It was really a way for me to do some self therapy during a really dark time. I took all of those bad days and mustered up enough courage to start painting with watercolors and acrylics. It became inspiration that drew me up and out into the sun again.

When the pandemic arrived, and we were all quarantined in our homes in 2020, I began sending paintings to friends just to send a little joy out into the world. Eventually, after a lot of encouragement from friends and family, I decided to start selling my art. So here we are.
The name Plein de Bonté translates to "Full of Kindness."

I believe we could all use a little more kindness, especially now. I love to give, whether it's a perfect gift, a needed smile, an encouraging word, or donating my time/talents or funds when I can. So when I sell my art, I also seek to add kindness and generosity to the world through charitable giving. A portion of the proceeds I make from selling my art goes back into the community and other philanthropic causes.
