Sue Pearson
My name is Sue Pearson. My grandma taught me to knit when I was in high school.
When my first grandchild was born I made him my very first hooded baby sweater that zips up the back. Ever since then I’ve been making and gifting as well as consigning these special sweaters. I now have 15 grandchildren and 7 great grand babies. Every one of them has been given these sweaters.
I've found that knitting is my therapy. It keeps me sane.
My sweaters come in 5 sizes:
Newborn-6 months
6-12 months
12-18 months and
2-4 Toddler
Most sweaters are made with good quality acrylic yarn using self-healing nylon zippers. Each sweater is finished with a tiny heart charm that says ”made with love.”
I have started making these sweaters in Merino Wool that is machine washable/lay flat to dry. I also use cotton and cotton-blended yarn as well as bamboo yarn for those clients interested in natural fibers.
My newest interest is machine embroidery. I bought a home embroidery machine and started embroidering on infant one-piece body suits. I purchase body suits when I find good deals. I do stock plain white bodysuits in all infant sizes. I have purchased the designs and patterns so they can be put on a plain white bodysuit but printed and patterned bodysuits are all one-of-a-kind.
