This is a large Maple bowl with rounded sides and a band around the top. There is a touch of creamy color mixed with the light brown which is the result of the presence of the ambrosia beetle. It's a soothing combination of color that invites one to reflect on it. It is finished with wipe on varnish which I buffed and then waxed. Good to use for dried things. When needed you can wipe down with a quality furniture polish.
